Thermostatic heater for handwashing and low-flow applications.

LavAdvantage™ tankless electric water heater is designed to fit a variety of fixed and variable flow applications and can deliver endless hot water to a single fixture or multiple fixtures. All LavAdvantage units feature a 0.2 GPM turn-on flow rate with a fast and accurate time-to-temperature. The digital LED display with an accessible user interface communicates system status and heater operation feedback. Silent operation is available on all models except for SPEX012240T. Mount the unit within two feet of the fixture for best performance.

Compact size for flexible installation

Eemax tankless units are up to 90% smaller than water heater tank. The compact size and wall mounting allow for an easier installation and saves valuable floor space.

Thermostatic control for temperature stability.

The water is heated by the heating element while the water temperature and flow rate are monitored by the control board. The self-modulating software compares the actual outlet temperature to the desired temperature and makes adjustments to the power applied if required.

Mount in any orientation for a flexible installation

LavAdvantage mounts in any horizontal or vertical orientation and is an ideal solution for environments with space restrictions or pre-existing plumbing connections. Install under a counter, on a wall, or wherever is the most convenient spot for any application.

How It Works

Step 1
Inlet.

Water enters the system through the inlet fitting.

Step 2
Inlet temperature thermistor and flow sensor.

The inlet temperature and gallons-per-minute flow rate are measured and the data is sent to the control board.

Step 3
Control board with digital display.

The software calculates the amount of power to be applied to the heating element based on the inlet temperature, flow rate, and set temperature.

Step 4
Triac assembly.

Triacs modulate the power to the heating elements to achieve the correct output.

Step 5
Heating element.

The heating elements activate and heat the outgoing water to the set temperature.

Step 6
Outlet temperature thermistor.

Outlet thermistor sends the hot water temperature to the control board. Self-modulating software compares the actual outlet temperature to the desired temperature and makes adjustments if required.

Step 7
Water to fixture.

The heated water is delivered to the fixture. For best performance, decrease the distance from the outlet fitting on the unit to the hot water fixture.
