Eemax tankless heaters are a great problem solver for an application we haven’t traditionally targeted; boosting recirculation loops. The majority of large buildings rely on a central heater and hot water loop to keep hot water close to the fixtures. While we’d like customers to switch to tankless, it may not always be feasible. At the same time, we’re hearing more and more about how these facilities have difficulty keeping those loops at the proper temperature. Adding an Eemax heater on a small secondary pipe loop—along with an aquastat and circulator—solves this problem. Typically the power required is relatively small. And, because Eemax doesn’t specify a T&P valve, most codes don’t require a drain line, simplifying the installation.
